This is a simple but effective saw sharpener. It works best if you clamp the saw bar in a vise so you can use two hands to control the file. The file guide helps keep the file at the right position and angle to get the teeth sharp. I really like the feature that sets the depth gauges while the tooth is filed. There are many brands of this for sale and this one is in the middle of the price range.

always I was buying chainsaw chains and have them use once only because I struggle with the sharpening angles and what not. I'm not the best sharpening guy with this sharpener but at least I can get a bit sharp and use a little longer the chain, if not, at least l will make others think that I know what I'm doing if the see me using this file. For the price, and colors I'm happy with it

Love this chainsaw. I have mostly only used a stihl but I have to say I pick this saw up everytime I have some tree work to do. A little heavy if only using to limb but if you have to cut up any amount of firewood this is the saw to get!

Had a big sugar maple that fell in a wind storm. This saw is powerful. Chain performed as well as any. I sharpened it once on this job.
