It adds an LCD touch screen, user interface navigation controls, audio output and input, micro SD card slot, 10 PPM crystal oscillator with battery backup for real-time clock, speakers, lithium battery charger and middle button on/off function (long press 3 -4 seconds). PortaPack firmware provides the user interface and necessary signal processing functions to perform many useful operations without a computer.
